Long Term Project of 41Clubs of India
Freedom through digital education is a digital smart class room initiative of 41ers in making India a global super power by developing digital future ready smart citizens. We do so by providing high quality digital education tools to children from lower economic strata studying in government schools or aided schools in interiors.
FTDE offers digital education tools to make education interesting, engaging and fun to learn. It makes course content come alive and make it sticky through experiential learning as compared to rote method
FTDE program helps overcome the digital divide between Urban and rural, under privileged and well to do sections of the society. This also helps overcome any challenges owing to availability or quality of school teachers. Focused on schools with semi-English or vernacular mediums, this will be a bridge between India and Bharat
We execute the program at FTE schools along with Tablers, where possible. This program aligns without aims & objects - "To actively participate in creating a better India"

What do we offer as a part of the Program
Curriculum Software:
- The software follows the CBSE or State Board approved curriculum with concepts explained in an interactive and interesting audio visual presentation
- The subjects are delivered in a mix of English, Semi English and vernacular medium. Science and Maths in English and rest in local language.
- The software is offered in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali.
- Languages under development: Oriya, Assamese & Punjabi
- Usage tracking software
Hardware:
- Android based projector or Android based 55” Smart TV, Mouse, key board and a Voltage stabiliser where required. The system locked software would be preloaded into the hardware.
- Depending on the vendor, 1 to 3 year free software upgradation & AMC is complimentary. Optional insurance can be worked out.
Role of 41 clubs:
- Identify the FTE or government run/aided school where FTDE program can be implemented.
- Liasoning with the school, local government authorities or any other stakeholders, as required
- Rope in local tablers to become partners in the project.
- Identify a classroom where the FTDE digital education tools provided can be used by the students and safely locked thereafter.
- Electrical connections and necessary pre-setup.
Partnership:
- We encourage partnership with Tables, Tangent and Ladies Circles or any other NGP/service organisation.
- They may participate in the project as equal partners. Also extend local support.
Commercials:
- Depending on the vendor and choice of the optional items that go into the offering the total cost is estimated may vary between 40k to 1.25 lakhs.
Support to 41 Club:
- The local 41 club will get a grant of 25,000 or 50% of the cost of the project whichever is lower. This is subject to the availability of funds in the central pool. Rest has to be taken care by the 41 Club.
- If there are more additional partners, then the local 41 club will get a grant of 15,000 or 25% of the cost of the project whichever is lower.
Process Pre:
- The 41 Club identifies FTE or government run/aided schools which require digital education tools.
- Obtain necessary written consent from the school/government authorities.
- Identify partners - RTI/TI/LCI, any NGOs or donors wanting to participate in the project, if any.
- Submit the FTDE application form indicating need for financial support.
- Interested 41 Club has to fill 41 Association FTDE application form > Area Chairman > who in turn will forward to Convenor FTDE.
The application made by Club shall include
- Request Letter received from School for the FTDE project with complete school details
- Approved Vendor Quotation in the name of Association of 41 Clubs of India with local Club Number & City and also Chairman Name.
- Confirmation by the Club Chairman that on receipt of approval from Association of 41 Clubs of India, Club shall deposit their share of money in Associations bank account and Association of 41 Clubs of India shall make 60% advance with confirmation, and the balance 40% money shall be paid within 7 days of the receipt of Project Completion Report from Club.
- Ensure the school has a classroom as per requirements of FTDE esp Electrical connections.
- Understand the need for Voltage stabiliser.
- Raise the equal contribution and transfer to the Association bank account.
- Await approval and issuance Project approval code from the Convenor FTDE.
- Advance to be issued to vendor by Convenor.
